As a broker you'll take the viewer on a personal showing of the home.

The videotaping process

The purpose of the video is to paint a picture as to why this propery should be considered as their dream home. You don't need to be a professional to do a good job at this. We can do different takes and edit them together. Remember, this is to highlight the home as well as you as a broker. It's best to think of this as guiding the viewer through the home as you would on an open house tour.

• We'll take about 10-15 minutes to walk through the property to discuss the areas that should be featured. It helps if you've already done this in advance and write some quick bullet points.
• We'll shoot the intro - usually out in front of the home.
• For most of the interiors, you'll be walking behind the camera and describing what the viewer is looking at.
• You may be on camera for a couple of interior shots.
• You'll be on camera for the close. During the close you'll want to explain why they should call you to take a personal tour. The ending will sound something like this, "I hope that this video has shown you why this home is so spectacular. I'd like the opportunity to show you how great this home is in person. Please call me at the number listed at the bottom of the screen to set up a personal tour."

Rockin' Media will:

• Videotape you and the property using a high definition 16:9 video camera with a Steadicam
• Edit the video
• Upload the tour to Metrolist Virtual Tour link (existing virtual tour will be replaced)
• Upload the video to YouTube/OnLocation

Assumptions

• Total videotaping time will not exceed 1 hour
• Home will be ready to be videotaped upon arrival with all lights turned on and rooms clean.
• Broker/Agent will have 5 or 6 features/areas of the property that he/she would like to highlight
• Finished video will be no more that 4 minutes in length
• Unless there are factual errors in the video, Rockin' Media will have editorial control of finished video
• Finished videos will be uploaded to Metrolist & YouTube/ColdwellBanker within 72 hours
